What we collect

When you use AsteriaHub, we collect:

• Your username and email address at registration
• Content you post — forum posts, chat messages, marketplace listings, map markers
• Your IP address on login, used for security purposes
• Profile information you choose to add (avatar, bio, in-game name, etc.)

How we use it

We use this data to:

• Operate and maintain the platform
• Verify your identity and keep your account secure
• Enforce our Terms of Service and handle moderation
• Send you notifications related to your activity on the platform (This will only happen on site, almost never via Email)

What we do not do

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not run ads. We do not share your information with anyone outside the platform except where required by law.

Oversight

The Platform Superuser Account has access to private messages, deal chats, and guild communications for the purposes of moderation and safety. This access is logged and limited to the Owner of this site. The superuser account is not for everyday Usage and is only used when neccessary.

Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. Completed deal chat messages are automatically removed after 7 days. General chat messages older than 90 days are periodically cleaned up. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed, though some content (posts, markers) may remain in anonymised form.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies.

Your rights

You can update or remove your profile information at any time through your account settings. To request full account deletion or a copy of your data, please use the options on your settings page or contact us at info@asteria-hub.com.
